Pedal boats, SUP, sailing, surfing or kiting: at the “Sail & Surf” water sports school on the southern beach you can take courses and hire equipment such as SUP boards. Bikes and Segways can be rented in the village.
A seaside holiday with your dog
In some holiday houses your dog is expressly welcome – look out for the paw symbol. The dog beach can be used all year round, and from 1 October to 30 April dogs are allowed on all beaches.

Small, peaceful and right by the sea
Pelzerhaken is a rather quiet spot in the Bay of Lübeck and ideal for families with children. The beach with its shallow water and gently sloping shore offers perfect conditions for this.
In the village you'll find a supermarket, bakery, restaurants, ice-cream parlours, cafés and bars. Destinations such as Grömitz, Timmendorfer Strand, Holstein Switzerland or the HANSA-PARK are quick to reach by car – and Hamburg and Lübeck are not far either.
